.: Cluster hardware
The Tower of Power consists currently (it changes often) of a server desktop, a tower of 8 bare mainboards and another 5 small form factor computers. All of the computers are HP's.
.: Headnode information
The headnode has an Intel Pentium 4 running at 3.60Ghz, 1.5GB of RAM, 160GB disk, dual NICs.
.: Node information
Most nodes are 3.2Ghz Pentium 4's, although 3 nodes are 3.40Ghz Pentium D's. Most nodes have 1GB of RAM. The nodes are completely diskless and are booted through the 100Mbps network. |

.: Network information
The cluster runs on a flat network topology. One NIC in the headnode is connected the internet to allow access and updates. The other NIC connects to the 24 port switch that serves the nodes. At this time there's no passthrough from the internet to the nodes, while this really isn't a problem for most applications, a fix is in the works. |
